FKK-Hasenheide: Live Drawings
2024 - 25 | Drawing
These vibrant drawings reflect about the intersection of community, body positivity and shows the intimate and liberating world of Hasenheide Park's nudist area. Created over the summer, these artworks capture fleeting moments of stillness and movement in a space where bodies exist freely, unapologetically, fully connected to nature and themselves.
For me, this part of Hasenheide serves as both a sanctuary and a source of inspiration. It is here, under the warmth of the sun, that I practices yoga, meditate, read and draw, replenishing energy, feeling at one with the diverse individuals who also gather here — many of whom are part of the LGTBIQ* community. Here I feel that everyone is part of a collective where words are unnecessary and shared presence speaks volumes. Together, they embody a sense of belonging that defies societal norms and celebrates the beauty of queer existence in its most natural state.
The drawings show an urgent, spontaneous energy, a quick capture of the essence of the subjects before they shift position or dissolve back into the landscape. Vibrant colors and dynamic lines infuse each work with life, reflecting a profound connection between the human form and the natural world.
Many of the drawings were given to the portrayed person and there's no digital copy.
