#Smartpaint
2014 - 2016 | Digital art, printed on paper 100% cotton mounted on dibond
This project is the result of theoretical research on painting and the smartphone as a mobile device and object of desire due to the need to be able to be transported and marketed.
The images are the result of a dialogue between images produced during the paradigm shifts of the "Discovery of the New World" in 1492 and the recent "Digitalization of our World". Thus, a combination of paintings and digital elements is generated that superimposes the "Tinder App terms and conditions of use" on Velásquez's "Surrender of Breda", or the display of application icons on Rembrandt's "Anatomy Lesson" or Vermeer's "Girl with a Pearl Earring" as a portrait of its user.
