Painting Classes in Berlin That Sell Out Fast

Why is Important to Reserve Your Spot Early

Most of my painting classes in Berlin fill up quickly, and many students book their next course before the current one even ends. If you’ve been thinking about joining, this is your sign to reserve your spot early.

Why These Classes Fill Up Quickly

Many participants don’t just come once, they continue. They book the next course, and the next one. Which means… they are enjoying my classes!

Available spots are limited. Small groups have benefits:

  • You get more personal attention

  • There's a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere

  • Clear guidance for beginners

What Happens If You Wait Too Long

This is something I want to be transparent about: Many workshops sell out weeks before starting, because we have a growing community of returning students, classes are small and often in high demand. But sometimes last-minute bookings are possible.

And there’s another side: If a course doesn’t reach a minimum number of participants at least two weeks before the start, it may be cancelled by the venue! And we don't want that!

So early booking helps in both ways:

  • You secure your spot

  • You help ensure the class actually takes place

Thank you very much for booking in advance!!

Why Many Students Keep Coming Back

A big part of the groups are returning students. I often hear things like: “This is the highlight of my week”, or “I’ve been waiting all week for this class.”

The class becomes part of your weekly routine. It's a me-time-moment, you build confidence by practicing, you develop your own style, try new things and experiment. For me it's also important to connect with others and to enjoy the experience.

That continuity is what makes the learning process deeper, and the atmosphere more special. Small Groups = Better Learning

All classes are limited to 10–12 participants. This allows me to give you personalized feedback, support you at your own pace and guide you over time.

This is especially important if you’re a beginner. You don’t get lost in the group, you’re part of it. If you’ve ever thought: “I’d love to paint, but I don’t know where to start”

→ you’re exactly the kind of person these classes are for.

These workshops are designed for:

  • All levels - Beginners with no experience are welcome

  • People looking for a creative after-work activity

  • Anyone who wants to paint but feels stuck doing it alone

  • Students who prefer small, supportive groups

  • You speak English, German or Spanish

Most Popular (and Often Sold-Out) Painting Classes in Berlin

I offer acrylic painting workshops for beginners, with or without previous experience.
Because of the small group format, the intuitive approach, and the creative atmosphere, many students continue — and classes often fill up quickly.

There are two main formats to choose from: one-day sessions or weekly workshops.

Weekly Painting Workshops at Berlin Drawing Room (Mitte)

Every Wednesday afternoon, I run 6-week courses in our studio in Mitte. Many students repeat these courses several times, because practice makes everything more natural, more fluid, and more enjoyable. Classes are mainly taught in English, with personal feedback also available in Spanish and German.

These workshops are ideal if you’re looking for:

  • A consistent weekly creative routine

  • Personal feedback and guidance

  • Exercises adapted to your level

  • A relaxed, international group atmosphere

You can join the workshops in any order:

1-Day Painting Sessions at Modulor Berlin (Kreuzberg)

If you don’t have time during the week, I also offer intensive 1-day workshops, on Saturdays. In these sessions, you’ll learn a lot in a short time, and go home with a painting you can actually hang. Classes at Modulor are mainly taught in German, with support in English and Spanish when needed.

These sessions are a great way to:

  • Get a solid introduction to acrylic painting

  • Focus on a specific theme or technique

  • Enjoy a creative day and leave with a finished artwork

Workshops include:

Weekly Workshops & 1-Day Sessions at U8HAUS Gallery (Neukölln)

On Tuesday evenings, I also offer a mix of short courses and themed creative sessions, for all levels - beginners welcome. I think these 2-hour sessions are a great activity to share with friends or gift to someone artistic. Workshops are mainly taught in English, with support in Spanish and German whenever needed.

Here I offer different formats, focused on specific themes and techniques:

  • Portrait Reimagined → explore expressive portrait drawing and painting through observation and abstraction. 3 sessions of 2 hours

  • Floral Painting → reinterpret flowers and plants through colour, texture, and composition. 1 session of 2 hours

  • Expressive Drawing → develop a freer and more personal drawing practice through playful exercises and experimentation. 5 sessions of 2 hours

  • Still-Life Painting → learn to transform everyday objects into expressive contemporary paintings. 1 session of 2 hours

These workshops work especially well if you already joined other courses for beginners, and you're looking for new approaches to drawing an painting.

Many Courses Sell Out in Advance

Available spots are limited:

Reminder: You Can Always Cancel

If you’re unsure about your schedule, here’s something important: You can reserve your spot early, and cancel later if needed. So there’s really no downside to booking in advance.
